Anna was born and raised in Atlanta, but moved to Orlando to work for SLU. Anna’s SLU Journey began the summer before her junior year of high school, when she attended both 101 and 201 and then 301 the following summer. SLU completely changed the trajectory of Anna’s life. She took ownership of her faith, fell more in love with the Lord and learned how to lead herself and others well. At 101, Anna discovered her passion for making a difference in the lives of orphans and those in foster care and has a heart for advocating for women and girls. She stayed involved with SLU in college by being an SLU Ambassador for two years.
Anna graduated from Berry College with a degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. During her time at Berry, she worked as an event coordinator for the campus media association, was the assistant director of the Campus Scheduling Office, planned and directed weddings, and served as Senior Class President. Anna is thankful every day to serve with the organization that changed her life.
She loves reading autobiographies of great women, especially First Ladies. Whether on a plane to a new city, hiking in the mountains or catching a sunset on the beach, she loves being outside in God’s creation during her free time.
